Poorest Countries in the World


Everyone want to know which is the poorest country in the world? How much they are? Why are they poor? Is they haven't any natural resource? How citizens of such countries are spending life in poverty? So, in this article i share about poorest countries in the world with their populations, GDP and their languages. And why they can't progress after his freedom. The list of poor countries are starting below:


1. Democratic Republic of the Congo


Democratic Republic of the Congo is the first in the list of Poorest countries in the world. Congo is located in the Central Africa. It was discovered by Semliki harpoon in 1960. The capital of Congo is Kinshasa and Gross domestic product (GDP) of Congo is $416. Total population of Congo is 77,434,000 and national language is French. The main reason for the poverty of Congo is the Wars. The War of 1998, ruin the economy of Congo and kill about 60 lacs people in this dangerous War. After this War, Congo listed in the Poorest countries in the world. The main source of income of Congo citizens is agriculture and the half-population of Congo is attached with the occupation of agriculture.


2. Liberia


Liberia ranked 2nd in the list of Poor countries. It was discovered by Americo-Liberians in 1847. The capital of Liberia is Monrovia. The Gross domestic product (GDP) per capita of Liberia are about $436. The population of Liberia is 4,129,636 and the official language is English. The total GDP of Liberia is $2.7 Billions. The main source of income of Liberian is agriculture and services. Import and Export report of Liberia is better than any other country, it imports machines, transportation instrument, fuel, manufacturing tools, commodities and chemicals. It exports diamond, wood, iron and coffee. The unemployment ratio for the Liberia is 3.8%.


3. Republic of Zimbabwe


Republic of Zimbabwe is an South African country and the living standard of Zimbabwian are very low. It was discovered in 1965. The capital of Zimbabwe is Harare and Gross domestic product (GDP) of Zimbabwe about $491. Population of Zimbabwe contains 12,973,908 peoples. The economy of Zimbabwe is based on agriculture. Mostly Zimbabwian attached with the occupation of agriculture. The main import partners of Zimbabwe is South Africa. Zimbabwe imports food, chemicals, machinery, timber and fuel and exports gold, tobacco, fabrics and cotton. The unemployment rate of Zimbabwe is 93% and the labour of Zimbabwe contains about 30 lacs humans.


4. Burundi


Burundi got defeated by corruption, unstable education system and low GDP rate per capita. The capital of Burundi is Bujumbura and Gross domestic product (GDP) is $620. There are two main languages of Burundi which is French and Kirundi. Burundi appeared on the World's map on 1st of July 1962. Like other poor countries economies, the economy of Burundi also stand on agriculture. The 88% population of Burundi attached with the occupation of agriculture. The government of Burundi taking ventures to stable their economy. Burundi is good in import and export. It imports petroleum, oil, food and wood & exports hides, sugar, coffee and tea. The unemployment rate of Burundi is 80%.

5. Eritrea


Eritrea ranked 5th in the list of Poorest countries in the world. It was discovered in 1941. The capital of Eritrea is Asmara and Gross domestic product (GDP) is $750. The national language of Eritrea is Tigrinya and population contains 6,433,982 peoples. Eritrea has working in several industries including cement, fabric and textile, salt and food. The import and export position for Eritrea also good. it imports manufacturing tools, petroleum, oil and machinery and export sorghum, food and short manufacturing instruments. The economy of Eritrea based on agriculture. Most people attached with the occupation of agriculture. The labour force of Eritrea contains 21 lacs peoples.
