Biography of Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was a well-known South African personality and the founder of modern South Africa. Rolihlahla Nelson Mandela born in 18th of July 1918 in Cape Province. Mandela got his early education from Methodist school when he was 7 years old. When Mandela was 9 years old, his father settled to Qunu where he was died because of lung diseases. When Mandela 12 years old, his father got died then his mother work in other house as a house cleaner to embosoming of their childrens. In Methodist school, Mandela studied their English, Xhosa, Geography and History and perspicuous their parents name in the field of education.

After completing his education, Mandela moved to University of Fort Hare where he studied the Bachelor of Arts (B.A) and then he joined University of Witwatersrand to gain the degree of law. For more study, Mandela plans to study abroad and go to London and joined University of London to gain the degree of LLB (Bachelor of Laws) but he left studies because of large amount of charges he can't afford.

In 1994, Mandela got married with Evelyn Mase, she is a nurse by profession. Mandela had 4 childrens with Evelyn Mase 2 sons and 2 daughters. Mandela divorced Evelyn Mase because of some personal problems in 1958. In 1958, he got second married with an social worker named "Winnie Madikizela" and again divorced in 1966. Nelson Mandela had two daughters from his second wife Winnie Madikizela.

Mandela joined African National Congress (ANC) in 1949 and his political career was hard but very successful. Mandela was imprisonment for 27 years. In 1991, Mandela become the president of ANC and take a decision to take part in the presidential election in South Africa. In 1994, Mandela was elected to be the President of South Africa by huge votes and national support. The presidential era of Nelson Mandela proved to be a prosperity era for African nation. The progress rate of South Africa was increased and Africans count as respected nation. The founder of modern South Africa "Nelson Mandela" got died in 2013 in Johannesburg.
